Terms of Service
These are the rules for using Witoh — what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. We have kept them as short as a document like this can reasonably be.

This agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Witoh (“Witoh”, “we”, “us”) covering the Witoh app, the website at witohapp.com, and any related services we provide.
By creating an account or using Witoh you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Witoh.
Our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines are part of this agreement.
Who can use Witoh
You must be at least 13 years old to use Witoh, and old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live. If local law sets a higher minimum age for a service like this, that age applies to you.
You may not use Witoh if we have previously removed your account, or if you are barred from receiving the service under applicable law.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for what happens on it. Keep your sign-in details and any verification codes to yourself, and tell us promptly at support@witohapp.com if you think someone else has access.
Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date. Do not create an account for someone else without their permission, and do not share your account with people who should not have it.
One person, one account. Accounts are not transferable.
Content you post
What you create on Witoh stays yours. We do not claim ownership of your photos, videos, writing or anything else you post.
You are responsible for what you post: you confirm that you have the rights to it, and that posting it does not break the law or anyone else’s rights. Do not post other people’s content as if it were your own, and do not post someone in a way they have not agreed to.
The permission we need to run the service
To show your content to the people you shared it with, we need your permission to handle it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, reproduce, adapt (for example to resize or transcode), publish and display the content you post — solely for the purpose of operating, improving and providing Witoh.
This licence exists so the product can function. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has been shared with others who still have it, where we need to keep a copy for a legal reason, or where a backup has not yet cycled out.
Acceptable use
Our Community Guidelines set out what belongs on Witoh. In addition, you agree not to:
- break the law, or use Witoh to help someone else break it;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or invade the privacy of anyone;
- post content that is fraudulent, deliberately misleading, or paid for without saying so;
- send spam, run automated accounts, or artificially inflate activity;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-collect data from Witoh, or attempt to;
- reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with how Witoh works;
- probe, scan or test the security of our systems without our written permission;
- use Witoh in a way that damages it, or the experience of the people using it.
Moderation and enforcement
We may review content that is reported to us, or that our systems flag. Where content or behaviour breaks these Terms or the Guidelines, we may remove content, limit its reach, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account.
We aim to be proportionate, and to act faster on things that put people at risk. We do not promise to review everything, and not removing something is not an endorsement of it.
Our intellectual property
Witoh — the app, the website, our software, design, and the Witoh name and marks — belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use our name, logo or brand without our written permission, beyond referring to Witoh honestly.
Third-party services and content
Witoh may link to, or work alongside, services we do not control — app stores, maps, links other people post. We are not responsible for those services or for what they contain, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Changes to Witoh
Witoh is a product under active development. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue parts of the service. Where a change materially disadvantages you and we can reasonably tell you in advance, we will.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Witoh at any time and delete your account from within the app — see Delete account.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or the Guidelines, if it is necessary to protect other people or the service, or if we are required to. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content licences already granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability — continue to apply afterwards.
Disclaimers
Witoh is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your expectations.
Witoh shows you what other people say about places and experiences. We do not verify those accounts, and they are opinions rather than statements of fact. Use your judgement, particularly on anything involving your health, safety or money.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill arising out of your use of Witoh.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Witoh is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that country, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a provision on one occasion does not waive it. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a business transfer.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will give notice in the app for changes that materially affect you.
