How can we help?
Witoh is a small team and a new product, so there is no phone queue and no ticket robot. Start with the topics below; if none of them covers it, write to us and a person will reply.
Support topics
Getting started
Witoh is a mobile app. Install it, verify the phone number or email you want on the account, pick a username, and you are in. Everything after that is optional — you can look around before you post anything.
Your account
Your username and the contact details you sign in with can be changed in the app under Settings. Keep those contact details current — they are how you get back in if you lose your phone.
Profiles
A profile is a display name, a photo and whatever else you choose to add. Only the fields you fill in are shown. You can edit or clear any of it at any time.
Posting and sharing
Posts are how you record an experience — what it was, where, and what you made of it. Where you post determines who sees it. You can delete anything you posted, and deleting it removes it from Witoh.
Memories
Some experiences belong with the people who were part of them rather than in a public feed. Those stay with that group, and the people in it can see and keep what was shared there.
Privacy
What we collect, why, who it is shared with and how long it is kept is set out in full in the Privacy Policy — including how to ask us for a copy of your information.
Read the Privacy PolicySafety
Nobody from Witoh will ever ask you for a verification code, a password or a payment. If someone claiming to be us does, it is not us. The security page covers what to do about it.
Security and account safetyReporting content or someone's behaviour
Report a post or a profile from inside the app; reports are not shown to the person you report. If you cannot report it in the app, email us with a link or enough detail to find it.
What we act onApp permissions
Camera, photos, location and notifications are requested only when a feature needs them, and you can change your mind later in your device settings — iOS under Settings → Witoh, Android under Settings → Apps → Witoh → Permissions. Declining one disables that feature, not the app.
Something is not working
First, update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play and restart the app — that resolves most of it. If it persists, email us with your device model, your OS version, the app version and what you were doing when it happened.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app, or ask us to do it if you cannot get in. Deletion is permanent, and the page below sets out exactly what it removes and what may remain.
